Current and Former Students

As a postdoc and graduate student I've had the opportunity to mentor or co-mentor (* indicated, other mentors listed in parenthesis) several students.

Libby Dabrowski

Libby was my 2015 REU student and is currently an undergraduate at the University of Puget Sound. She spent the summer determining fundamental parameters of nearby, bright stars so that they are well characterized for future planet discovery projects.

Michael Malatesta* (Jennifer L. Hoffman and John P. Wisniewski)

Mike and I both worked for the same adviser (he as an undergrad, me as a grad student) while we were at the University of Denver, and then again (he as a grad student, me as a postdoc) at the University of Oklahoma. He recently defended his master's thesis on V356 Sgr and has left the field for bigger and better things!

Jodi Berdis* (John P. Wisniewski)

Jodi recently graduated from the University of Oklahoma, and was part of our V356 Sgr research team. She currently attends New Mexico State University as a graduate student!

Marcus Kiel* (John P. Wisniewski)

Marcus is currently working on his undergraduate degree at the University of Oklahoma and was a member of our V356 Sgr research team.

Matt Scheffler* (John P. Wisniewski)

Matt is currently an undergraduate at the University of Oklahoma and was a member of our V356 Sgr research team.
