Hi! I am Andy Feldt, the systems and network manager for the Homer L. Dodge Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Oklahoma. You are welcome to send me a message about anything concerning our departmental network (anything at .nhn.ou.edu) or our departmental web server (http://www.nhn.ou.edu/).
To see what things are of interest to me, you might want to look at my hotlist file. I have tried to organize this somewhat to make it easier for me to find things. I also have some family info (and other old pages). My family might be interested in my family weather page. I have also set up an entry on Facebook but it is a bit sparse yet.
In my younger days ;-), and again recently, I have done research in both physics and astrophysics. Note that some of this was so long ago that I had the pleasure of meeting Jens Rud Nielsen after whom our building is named.
I used to play racquetball in (and was "commissioner" of) the Over The Hill Racquetball League (OTHRBL) here at OU. The members can view the old info if they wish...
In the winter of 2005, I played soccer for the first time in my life. This was in an adult, coed, indoor soccer league in Oklahoma City. We even won some games! We played again in the winter of 2006 with this group (Random Walks). We placed 2nd in the session that ended in January, 2006 and then finished last in the following session.
I am currently on the advisory board for the OU Supercomputing Center for Education & Research. I am also the Financial Director for the Cleveland County chapter of Thrivent and am a Trustee for the Endowment Trust of University Lutheran Church and Student Center.
A glimpse into my life:
There are only 10 types of people - those who understand binary and those who don't
