Flexible Hybrids

This section of the OU Physics and Astronomy web site is devoted to the technical
aspects of the ATLAS Pixel Detector Flexible Hybrids. The OU High Energy Physics
program (OUHEP) is providing layout, fabrication and assembly (through industry),
testing and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC).
To date, we have designed and acquired three versions of the Flexible Hybrids. Several
modules have been successfully built and tested with these prototypes, including
the first Flex Hybrid module built by us in 1998. OUHEP is responsible for production
oversight of the Flex Hybrids, slated to begin in 2002.
