This is a project to obtain photometric observations of 41 white dwarfs with circumstellar debris disks to see if they have disintegrating planets orbiting them (like in arXiv:1510.06387). We are looking for 5-10 min long eclipses that could be as deep as 40-50%. The orbital periods of such planets are likely several hours, so the best observing strategy would be to observe each white dwarf for 6 hours on a given night. If there are no eclipses detected after 2-3 nights, we can move on to the next target.

Current target list is below, and clicking on the object name brings up a finder chart. The target magnitudes range from 14.2 to fainter than 18. There are three pulsating ZZ Cetis that have low-amplitude pulsations, hence significant eclipses should still be very easy to see in these systems. There are also several objects with gas disks around them, these are potentially very interesting systems to follow-up.
