Research Description
I working on studying the smallest and dimmest galaxies: from classical dwarf galaxies down into the ultra-faint and ultra-diffuse regimes. These galaxies are at the lower limits of galaxy formation and can tell us a lot about the nature of dark matter, reionization and star formation. I primarily work with zoom-in simulations of dwarf galaxies like the DC Justice League and the Marvelous Dwarfs, but I also work with the Romulus volume and cluster. My simulations are some of the highest resolution simulations published, and represent the cutting edge of computational galaxy formation.
