Searching for Particle Dark Matter

Observations from astrophysics and cosmology indicate that much of our Universe is made out of mysterious dark matter that interacts only very weakly, if at all, with ordinary matter.  In this talk, I will discuss what we know about dark matter, and how it fits into the broader picture of the physics of elementary particles.  I will discuss how future experiments offer opportunities to learn more about it and place it into context with the Standard Model of particle physics.
