Dr. El-Sayed,
I am writing this letter to express a heartfelt desire to
contribute to a Festschrift issue for Richard Bersohn. As my Ph.D. advisor, Richard Bersohn has had
a tremendous influence on both my personal and scientific life. My contribution will be in a field that
Richard helped to pioneer, namely hot hydrogen atom chemistry. More specifically, I would like to present
new work on either the photolysis of formic acid or the state-to-state dynamics
of the H+O2 reaction.
Sincerely Yours,
Neil Shafer-Ray
