Join a DNA Surname Group

Most of you, who like me probably have hit a brickwall with insufficient useful documentation to determine your next ancestor, may want to participate in our DNA project. So if you are a male bearing a Baalsen, Cooley, Dalton, Ferguson, Halverson, Nelson, Parker, Rodeback or Ross surname or have a a living male relative with that surname we encourage your participation. There are several ways to participate:

• Go directly to the "Parker Group Join Page" at Relative Genetics. (Choose appropriate surname group)
• Go directly to the "Parker Surname Group" at Family Tree DNA.
• Go directly to the "Parker Surname Group" at DNA Heritage.

A simple DNA kit will be sent to you from the testing company. You simply swab the inside of your mouth. It usually take less that 5 minutes and is done by you at your home. Make sure that you sign the consent form and indicate that you want to join the "Parker" DNA surname group. Then you return the swabs to the testing company.
