Martha Ann Nelson Letter This letter was written by Martha Ann Nelson June 22, 1851 in Kanesville, Iowa to her mother. This letter was written after 13 lessons. Notice the impressive handwriting. She is a phonetic speller but obviously very bright and I am impressed with her ability
