  • 1790 Census for David Parker -- David Parker on this 1790 Northampton Co., NC census, is a son of Saul Parker, 1741-1786.,and Charity Jenkins. He was b. 1761-1814.
    in Northampton Co., NC. David Parker was a soldier in the Rev War. I will send more details on him. David married Elizabeth Andrews Hayes, a widow of Elias Hayes, another Rev War soldier who died. She had a son by him, also Elias Hayes. This son, Elias, is also listed in the Lemuel Parker family Bible. The second child of David and Elizabeth, was Lemuel Parker, born April 4, 1790. This family was living in Northampton Co., NC until 1809, when, according to one account, they moved to Halifax Co., NC. In 1813, they moved to Anson Co., NC. It was here that David Parker died in 1814.

  • Old Hopeful Church -- This is the Primitive Baptist Church near Ozark, Dale County, Alabama. There is a church cemetery associated with the church where Lemuel and Elizabeth Carpenter Parker are burried. Joseph and Hannah McDonald Parker and other family members gravesites are also located in this cemetery. The church was built in the early 1850's.
