Quantum Physics

You will need to get a quicktime movie player or plug-in (available from quicktime.apple.com) or MPEG player to view many of these. Others require a Java capable browser or a VRML plug-in. A few SAMPLES of some of what is available on these links are available locally for faster loading by OU students so that they may test their browser before venturing onto the World Wide Web.

Visual Quantum Mechanics: Kansas State A nice basic tutorial on quantum physics. A hyperlinked document with some small images for the equations. A local copy is available and should load faster for OU students.
The Quantum Airtrack: One Dimensional Quantum Waves: QuickTime Movies and explanations of the physics. Some special solid state applications.
Time Development of Quantum Mechanical Systems Technical University of Budapest: Two dimensional Evolution of Wavepackets. Images and MPEG movies.
Mark's Quantum Mechanics Applets: Very nice java applets.
Quantum Mechanical Scattering.. Another nifty java applet.
Quantum Mechanics: UCLA Extensive instructional material on basic quantum, atoms, molecules and chemistry: much in graphical "slide" form which may take time to download.
The Learning Matters of Chemistry, Virginia Tech. Includes tutorials on quantum, atomic and molecular physics. Video and even virtual reality.
