About me?
I got my Ph.D. in 1988 from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada---and since then have been seeing the world with research/teaching positions at University of Oklahoma (where my web pages all are still), Harvard University, University of Barcelona, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, University of Nevada, Las Vegas (where my email still comes from), Northern Arizona University, and numerous other places. I'm an astrophysicist specializing in supernovae and radiative transfer. This year I'm a visiting assistant professor at University of Evansville. See my vita for the whole saga.
You can just call me David.
It's tough, but sooner or later you have to call your elders by their first names. Altogether now ``David''.
Note: I'm often in my office outside of scheduled office hours and am usually happy to see students then. But also during office hours, I may wander off on an errand or something. If you want to see me for sure, make an appointment.
