The co-discoverer of quantum mechanics. He is the eponym of Schroedinger's equation. He also wrote a famous book What is Life which seems to be regarded as seminal in biology.

The images were all downloaded from the St. Andrews Mathematics History Archive Schroedinger biography. They are evidently all over 50 years old and probably over 70 years old. But it is possible that some are still copyrighted although it is possible that no now knows who owns or owned the copyright. In any case, I the use of them falls into the no one cares category.
