Types of defects marked on the flex hybrid after inspection: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.When there is a 'disc' written on the image it represents discoloration in the flex. 2.When 'src' is marked on the flex it indicates that there is a possible scratch on the flex hybrid. 3.Mark 'I' on the flex indicates that there is a possible inclusion on the flex. 4.'ced' on the flex indicates that there is debris on the cutting edge (cutting edge debris) 5.'dirt' indicates that there is some dirt in that part of the flex hybrid. 6.When a 'v' is marked on the flex it indicates that there is a void in that part of the flex hybrid. 7.'d' indicates Delamination i.e. the plastic lamination on the flex hybrid has been cut at that part . 8.'bub' it indicates that there are bubbles on the flex hybrid. 9.'gd' on the flex indicates some golden colored dirt particle usually excess copper deposit on that part. 10.'bp' it indicates bad plating on the flex. Some of the expossed copper has been badly damaged. 11.There are some teeth marks across the flex in the version 3.0 which are formed during fabrication process. These teeth marks do not appear in the later versions. The above defects are the most common defects that can be found on the flex hybrid circuit. The other defects due to which the high voltage tests have failed are also shown.
