TRAVEL
All conference sessions will be held in Nielsen Hall (NHN) which houses the Homer L. Dodge Department of Physics and Astronomy. The University of Oklahoma (main campus map) is located in Norman.
Will Rogers World Airport (OKC Airport Website) in Oklahoma City, OK services the Norman area (Map). A less expensive alternative to taxicab transportation between the airport and Norman is the Airport Express blue van.
HOTELS
We have made arrangements with three hotels near the OU campus. Please make reservations through the hotel PPC2009 site accessible only through the links below.

TRANSPORTATION TO CAMPUS
[1] Van Service is available from/to the three main conference hotels listed above (Residence Inn, Embassy Suites, and Sooner Legends). Residence Inn and Sooner Legends will both operate their own hotel shuttles for conference transportation. An OU departmental van will provide service to Embassy Suites. The following schedule is valid for all three hotels.
- Two trips every morning from hotel to Nielsen Hall:
- leaving hotel at 8:00 a.m.
- leaving hotel at 8:30 a.m.
- Monday evening:
- leaving Nielsen Hall at 5:45 p.m.
- leaving OU Memorial Union at 8:00 p.m.
- Tuesday evening:
- leaving Nielsen Hall at 5:45 p.m.
- leaving Nielsen Hall at 9:10 p.m.
- Wednesday evening:
- leaving Nielsen Hall at 5:45 p.m.
- leaving Nielsen Hall at 8:45 p.m.
- Thursday evening:
- leaving Nielsen Hall at 5:45 p.m.
- leaving OU Sam Noble Museum at 9:00 p.m.
- Friday afternoon:
- leaving Nielsen Hall at 12:30 p.m.
[2] Bus Service Norman, OK has a very good bus system through Cleveland Area Rapid Transit (CART). This bus system operates on a nominal fee and has several routes not only to the OU campus but also throughout Norman.
PARKING
Parking has been arranged free of charge in the Dale Hall Faculty/Staff lot. This parking lot is uncovered and less than five minutes' walk to the Physics and Astronomy building (NHN). The Dale Hall parking lot is indicated in blue and marked "A25" on the parking map in grid location C7-D7.
Parking in the designated lot is open to conference attendees, and parking permits are no longer required for the duration of this workshop.
